If you are looking for a bit of evening fun in Höchst, check out the Wunderbar (Antoniterstr. 16, tel. 31 87 83), a bar and café that is quite popular with younger Höchsters. The Jahrhunderthalle (Pfaffenwiese, tel. 360 12 36) is second only to the Festhalle for live concerts and tours that come through the area. The Neues Theater (Emmerich-Josef-Straße 46a, tel. 339 99 90, www.neues-theater.de) serves as a theatre and a cinema, with most films being shown in the original language with German subtitles. If you merely fancy a stroll through the old town and some coffee, a nice place to check out is the Peter Schlott café (Batterie, tel. 300 46 43) which is on a boat docked directly on the Main.
